Dear Family and Friends, I have embarked on a great adventure and want to share this exciting news with you! On Saturday, August 16, 2014, I will be one of the “Elite Eight” dancers competing in the seventh annual Boca’s Ballroom Battle being held at The Boca Raton Resort and Club. This event supports a charity which is very near and dear to my heart, The George Snow Scholarship Fund. The Fund’s mission is to assist deserving young scholars within our community with achieving their career goals and aspirations. As you may know, my oldest son Ryan will be embarking on a new adventure of his own in the fall…..his first year of college! That makes this endeavor that much more meaningful to me. Throughout this exciting journey, you will be able to follow my progress where weekly pictures will be posted. Also, as one of the competing dancers, I am asking for your support in raising sponsorship funds. Please assist me in this effort and remember that every donation makes a difference. You are able to donate by clicking on Support Your Favorite Dancer to the right. Sponsorship opportunities and ticket information is also listed on the website. My objective, of course, is to win the coveted 1st place “Mirror Ball” trophy and break the record for the most money raised! So mark your calendar, as I am sure you will want to be at this event, cheer me on and take pride in supporting this wonderful cause. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity. Warm regards, Victoria Rixon
