Namrata Israni

Namrata Israni Born in New York City to parents from Mumbai, India, and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Namrata Israni’s life has never fit neatly into a box and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Shaped by three continents before she was even an adult, she moves through the world with the kind of warmth that makes strangers feel like old friends and the kind of drive that turns big ideas into real things. From Lagos to Las Vegas, from Manhattan to Boca Raton, every city has left its mark on her. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has been building, creating, and connecting ever since.

Her path has been anything but linear, and that is exactly how she likes it. She founded Beauty and a Beat Dance Company in New York City, a dance brand built around Cardio Bollywood, where she trained instructors and ran marketing and operations across the tristate area. Because if you are going to do something, you might as well make it joyful. Her journey then moved into real estate in New York before bringing her south to Boca Raton, where she now works in Business Development at Lang Realty, leading agent recruitment and marketing strategy. In 2025, the entrepreneur in her could not sit still, so she launched Ngagemint, a marketing and content creation company specializing in social media strategy, brand growth, and digital presence for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Giving back is not something Namrata does on the side. It is woven into who she is. She served as Co-Chair of the Junior League of Boca Raton’s 2025 Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon, one of the League’s signature fundraising events, rolling up her sleeves on everything from planning and sponsorships to marketing and logistics. She was also on the board of Children’s Hope India, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting underprivileged children. The causes that hold the deepest place in her heart are ones that protect children, lift up single mothers, and make the world a little more fair. Having seen poverty in both India and Africa, watching children go without food, education, or opportunity, she has never taken lightly the privilege of being in a position to help.

Namrata first connected with the George Snow Scholarship Fund through the Junior League, during a volunteer shift where she helped assemble nutrition boxes for students preparing for exams. Learning that something as simple as a proper meal could make the difference in a child’s ability to show up and succeed moved her in a way she did not expect, and pulled her closer to the cause. So when the opportunity to dance in the Battle of the Ballrooms came along, the passionate side of her did not even hesitate. Dance has always lived deep in her soul, she is an Indian classical dancer, which tends to surprise people who know her from the business world. Having the chance to bring that joy to a stage while raising funds for students who need it most? That is the kind of yes that does not require a second thought.

When she is not working or volunteering, you will find Namrata on the beach doing absolutely nothing and loving every second of it, chasing adventures with her boys, or planning her next trip somewhere that will make her see the world differently. Three words that ductile her: passionate, warm and hardworking. She lives by one simple belief: “Wherever you are, be all there.” Boca Raton, she is here. She is all in. And she cannot wait to dance with you.
