Chairman and CEO, Ed Morse Automotive Group

Edward J., “Teddy” Morse III has been in the automotive business virtually his entire life. Born on January 27th, 1975 and raised in South Florida, Teddy attended Coral Springs High School and then went to Northwood University where he majored in Automotive Management.

Teddy learned the automotive business from the ground up starting as a service porter and subsequently worked in every department of the dealership operations. Teddy’s management career included F&I manager, corporate trainer, and assistant general manager.

In March of 2008 Teddy earned the opportunity to be the general manager of the group’s flagship dealership, Ed Morse Bayview Cadillac in Fort Lauderdale. During the four years that Teddy was Bayview’s General Manager he put in processes and put together the management team that raised the dealership’s customer satisfaction rankings to well above the zone and national averages. During Teddy’s tenure the dealership earned Cadillac’s Mark of Excellence award every year and the Cadillac Dealer of the Year honor twice, while the dealership was going through a complete renovation.

In 2012, Teddy moved to the corporate office where as the Director of Advertising & Marketing he revamped the company’s branding and promotions. Later, as Executive Vice President, Teddy worked closely with his father Ted, growing the family business by providing an exceptional customer experience while furthering the company’s impact on the local community through charitable work and support. Going back to before his time at Bayview Teddy became involved with several local charities, most notably the Boys & Girls Club, and to this day he continues to be personally involved several charities, both national and local.
Teddy Morse is also active in the South Florida automotive community and currently holds a position on the Board of Directors of the South Florida Automobile Dealers Association. Teddy has also worked on several Cadillac Local Marketing Association steering committees

Today, as the Ed Morse Automotive Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Teddy has the responsibility of managing a successful business that employs over 1,100 people and is celebrating over 70 years in business. It is Teddy Morse’s goal to continue to expand the business through increased sales and acquisitions.

The Ed Morse Automotive Group consists of 16 locations, that house 22 automotive franchises and 14 different brands – both domestic and import throughout the State of Florida and Texas. You can find an Ed Morse dealership in Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, Riviera Beach and Sunrise on Florida’s East Coast, in Port Richey, Tampa, and Brandon on Florida’s West Coast, and the company’s Texas dealerships in Dallas and Duncanville.
