Rick Versace was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and always had an interest in the glamour of Wall Street. He attended City University of New York Baruch College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and investments while working on Wall Street at night. After graduating, he built a major transportation company in the New York area through sweat equity, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
In 1996, Versace moved his family to South Florida, where they purchased multiple transportation companies in the area and built what would eventually become A1A Airport & Limousine Service. He has successfully franchised the A1A brand, and the franchises are now available across the country. In 2000, Versace formed a separate company called Arrow Security Corporation, providing armed executive protection and security guard services to clients in the South Florida area. Recently, he ventured into the golf apparel business with his son, and Proud 90 is featured in most of the best pro shops around the country.
Rick Versace has been the President of Florida Limousine Association for the last ten years and is a board member and Treasurer of the National Limousine Association. He is a member of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and the Palm Beach County Convention Center and Visitor’s Bureau. In addition, he served as the Grand Knight for the St. Jude’s Knights of Columbus. Versace and his wife Peggy have always believed in generosity, dedicating their time and resources to various charitable organizations like The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Hospital, and now, the George Snow Scholarship Fund.
Apart from his business ventures and philanthropy, Versace enjoys boating, golfing, and flying planes. He is also a singer-songwriter who plays keyboard and guitar.
