Dr. Anthony N. Dardano

Dear Friends,

As Boca’s go-to surgeon for face, breast and body cosmetic surgery, it is my honor and duty to give back to our community. Each year I decide to do something special in the spirit of giving. This year I have decided to try something out of my comfort zone and dance competitively in Boca’s Ballroom Battle!  I am inviting you to watch me and seven other community leaders tear up the dance floor in front of 800 people at the Boca Raton Resort & Club on August 16th  while competing for the coveted 1st place Mirror Ball Trophy, and of course to raise money for a great cause. All of the money raised will go directly to the George Snow Scholarship Fund, a local charity which provides scholarships to underprivileged youth.  Last year, The George Snow Scholarship Fund awarded over $509,000 in educational grants to those in our community’s who needed it the most.

I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I promise you, I’ve got what it takes to win this thing and I’m doing this for a great cause! Now I don’t want you to take away my man card for this dancing thing, I will be paired with an extremely attractive professional dancer and will be forced to practice hours and hours with her.  As a Community Dancer, I need to raise as many sponsorships as possible and I need your help. There is no amount too small, any amount helps.  I am so excited about this adventure that I have assembled “TEAM DARDANO” to assist me with my fundraising. Dr. Dardano’s Bio

Dr. Dardano is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has lived and worked in Boca Raton for the past 13 years. Originally from New York, he earned his medical degree here in Florida from Nova Southeastern University. He has completed specialty training not only in plastic surgery, but he has additional certifications in burn surgery, microsurgery, and cosmetic surgery. Since arriving here in Boca Raton, Dr Dardano has been extremely generous with his time and surgical talents in providing for those in need. He has been featured on the local news for not only providing pro-bono surgery on burn victims from Haiti, but actually paying for their airfare to the USA and convincing local hospitals to provide free care for them. In 2010 he won the Palm Beach County Heroes in Medicine Award for his medical relief work in Haiti after the earthquake. Despite a thriving plastic surgery practice, Dr Dardano still offers his skills as a reconstructive trauma surgeon at the local trauma center. His respect within the medical community has earned him leadership positions at all local hospitals. Currently he is the president-elect of the medical staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and serves as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences and Surgery at Florida Atlantic University, Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. In addition, he has authored text-book chapters, and has lectured internationally on various subjects within plastic surgery. When not treating patients, he can be found donating his time to the community, or spending time with his three boys, two dogs and his long-time love Jennifer.
