I am proud to announce that I will be burning up the dance floor in the 9th annual Boca’s Ballroom Battle, from 6-10PM, August 20th at The Boca Raton Resort and Club. Being a Marine, I’m always prepared to take on a new challenge head on. Even though in this case, it’s given the call letters “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” more meaning than ever – and there’s a chance you’ll see me taking on all three of those by the end of the evening.
As most of you know, I feel very strongly about getting involved and giving back to our great community. I’m honored to be a part of this incredible event benefiting the George Snow Scholarship Fund – an organization dedicated to helping individuals in financial need through a scholarship program for residents of South Florida who are continuing their education. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Fund, providing educational grants to some of our areas brightest and most deserving scholars. In 2015, the GSSF was named the “2015 Scholarship Provide of the Year” by the National Scholarship Providers Association, distributing over $617,000 to 67 hard-working students.
While I will be training hard for the 3 months leading up to the competition, it is not solely a dancing competition. In the spirit of the scholarship fund, donations will play a major factor in determining the winner of the ‘Mirror Ball’ trophy. That is why I am asking for your help to raise as much money as possible, to give me a real shot at taking that trophy home! You can donate right now by clicking the “DONATE” button below my photo.
Additionally, I would love to have your support at the event on August 20th at The Boca Raton Resort and Club, from 6-10PM. You can purchase your tickets online to sit in my corner and cheer me on. The tickets are going fast, so make sure you buy yours now! There are other ways to give as well, including a wide variety of great sponsorship opportunities. And as always, all donations are tax deductible. In any event, please make sure to select my name whether you are donating online, or by check (write my name in the message line) to:
George Snow Scholarship Fund Attn: Debi Feiler 201 Plaza Real, Suite #260 Boca Raton, FL 33432
Please donate to this great cause today, and help me achieve my goal of taking home the Mirror Ball trophy! I will be releasing some content through social media that I think you are all going to love to keep you updated on my progress leading up to the Ballroom Battle. Stay tuned!
Thank you, and I can’t wait to see you all there!
