Nancy Dockerty
– Director, Dockerty Romer & Co
Nancy moved from Texas to Delray Beach 18 years ago to join the firm Dockerty Romer & Co., a commercial mortgage banking firm where Nancy, a Director, arranges debt and equity for commercial real estate transactions.
Upon arriving in Florida, Nancy immediately joined the Junior League of Boca Raton, serving in various leadership roles, spent 5 years on the Board of Directors, served on The Endowment Board for the Junior League as well as serving as President of the organization in 2010.
Thru her experience in the Junior League Nancy has volunteered with numerous local non-profits including The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, as a member of the Advisory Council and a volunteer in their Village Academy Adult Learning Program, Impact 100, St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, serving as Chairman of the Stewardship Council and serving on the steering cabinet for their recent Capital Campaign and The Delray Beach Public Library, where Nancy has chaired numerous fundraisers and is serving in her third year as Board President.
Nancy was a nominee for Woman Volunteer of the Year in 2013, an honoree at Bethesda Hospital Foundation’s Women of Grace in 2016 and a nominee in 2017 for the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Women in Leadership award.
Nancy received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
In her free time Nancy enjoys traveling, reading, running, a good red wine and spending time with her family and friends!
