Dr. Rafael Cabrera

Dear Family & Friends,

Boca’s Ballroom Battle is sure to make history on August 19th as I Dance for a cause! Yes, you read that right!  Get ready to watch me and seven community leaders shake it on the dance floor while competing for the coveted 1st place trophy.

Alright, I know what you’re thinking…   Dr. Cabrera, dancing in front of 700 people at the Boca Raton Resort & Club? I know it sounds a bit crazy, but I promise you, I’ve got the moves to win this thing and I’m doing this for a great cause!  All of the money raised will go directly to the George Snow Scholarship Fund, a local charity which provides scholarships to underprivileged youth.  On June 9th, The George Snow Scholarship Fund awarded over $433,000 in educational grants to our community’s brightest and most deserving young scholars.

As one of the Community Dancer’s I need to raise as much as I can in sponsorships and I need your help!  There is no amount too small when it comes to helping these deserving students. Whatever you can give, whether it be $10, $50, $100, $500 or $1,000,  every penny counts and I will be dancing for your support.  All proceeds will go directly to the George Snow Scholarship Fund.

On August 19th, 2011 from 6:00-10:00pm the Fund will host its 4th annual Boca’s Ballroom Battle and I would love to see you there! You can also follow my progress online at www.ballroombattle.com, where I will post photos and video updates so you can see my moves first hand!

Here’s how you can help:

 Sincerely,

 Rafael C. Cabrera, MD, FACS
